  DogMan figure

My 9 year old is a HUGE DogMan fan and absolutely loves this little action figure! He has multiple points of articulation so can be posed in a lot of different ways, so he is more than just something to leave on the shelf! He is about 5 inches tall, so it is large enough to play with and manipulate the joints.

The quality is excellent, the paint job is clean and he looks exactly like he should. It os overall a well done action figure!

Exactly What a Dog Man Fan Wants

My kid is deep into the Dog Man books, so the Bark Knight variant was an easy pick when it came up as a Vine offer. JAKKS Pacific got the character design right — the oversized cartoon head, the wide open mouth, the white eye ovals, the bone emblem on the chest, the “D” belt buckle — it all maps cleanly to Dav Pilkey’s illustration style. At five inches it’s a solid, satisfying size, not so small it disappears on a shelf but not oversized either.

The 13 points of articulation are the real selling point here. The head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, and knees all move, which means the figure can actually be posed rather than just propped up. For a book-based toy at this price point that’s genuinely more than expected — most licensed figures at this size come with two or three points of movement at best. The bone chain accessory fits in the hand and stays there without much fuss.

Paint application on the face is clean where it counts — the eyes are crisp and symmetrical, the nose lands right, and the blue helmet reads clearly from the book. The cape has a little stiffness to it but nothing that pulls the figure off balance. The packaging itself is worth noting for fans: the card art pulls from the movie aesthetic and there’s a small teaser image of Cat Kid on the back, which will have collectors checking availability of the next one.

For anyone shopping for a Dog Man reader, this is the one to get. Great value for the money.

If you have young kids like me, you have ALL the Dog Man books! This Bark Night figure is very highly detailed and well made, and true to the Dog Man character in the books. My kids love posing him in all different situations! Super fun toy, and at a good price too.
